Just about settled back in from a great time at STAPLE! this past weekend. The crowd was enthusiastic, our fellow creators were terrific. We were pleasantly surprised to see Vernon there — he's engaged, and got a collection of Dexter Breakfast out. We also got to see Danielle again and pick up her Girls With Slingshots collection. Had a nice talk with Justin and Jennifer, met a bunch of people from The Austin Sketch Group, including Uncle Staple, the man behind the whole event. Our neighbors were Josh, in from the old neighborhood in Arlington, and Jenner. Picked up a stack of books, including Comic Book Comics, the latest Sonambulo, and have already read and enjoyed Hurricane Season.Our meager selection of pictures is at the 7000 BC Flickr stream; plenty of other folks are posting their photos and links at STAPLE! community blog.
