You never call! Maybe you should instead? Seriously, we'd love to know what you think about RBS.

Occasional posts from (usually) Bram and (sometimes) Monica about comics in general, this comic in particular, art, design, publishing, visual culture, and far, far too many things about actual squirrels.

Newsweek featured design last week. They single out graphic designer Sam Potts' work (click on the "826NYC/BSSCo.: everything" link) for 826NYC (part of Dave Eggers' 826 Valencia). Apparently, very successful. It just cracked me up.

Issue 1.5 is posted for download over there to the left. If you'd like a printed copy — or even a package of all the issues to date — just send an email.

On Jarrett at True Believers' recommendation, picked up Action Philosophers. Educational. Funny. A terrific read.

"...researcher Katie Ferrell pulled out a drawer full of stiff squirrel carcasses. It was a tiny sample from the museum's collection of 30,000." On the historical invasion of the Canadian squirrels and the Smithsonian's collection in the Post. Free registration required, but it's worth it. Thanks for the tip, Dad.

The offices of Squirrel Central have successfully relocated to Santa Fe after a week-long cross-country drive. The undeniable highlight of the trip was the visit to Hatch Show Print in Nashville, where we got to meet Jim Sherraden and wander the print shop. Just wonderful.

Moving day. Our stuff will be leaving for Santa Fe shortly, and we'll be following along on Sunday. We've dropped a pile of issue 1.5 at Big Planet Georgetown for Free Comic Book Day; once we're relocated and catch our breath, we'll be mailing out copies to any who have requested it (please send an email to be added to the list) and updating the site with the PDF.
